Rejoice!
March 29, 2011
My boy has been practicing a lot here lately and it is becoming real music for my soul. The squeaking is turning into sweet sounds. This is his first Full Size Violin.
I have been loving playing with textures and I am playing along this week with Kim Klassen and Texture Tuesday.

How gorgeous! I love the textures on this photo!
Beautiful, beautiful picture!! My son played trumpet last year and was a natural at it and I am missing listening to him this year. He chose Spanish and Athletics as his electives and it was a hard choice for him, since he really liked playing the trumpet.
love the light on this photo! how sweet to have a violinist in the family!
Beautiful picture. You know I’m partial to the violin, but not because I play it. Hard to believe Adam is already at a full-size, since I remember the first & LITTLE one. How wonderful to have & be able to enjoy the gift of music. Kristen & Abby are in the middle of piano lessons as I’m typing. I love seeing how much they love music & I pray they will continue to enjoy it. Who knew where my love of music and the small talent the Lord has given me would be helpful over the years!
That is a perfect blend of textures and photo! Very lovely!
Loving the textures! And really wishing I had more time to delve into this…
