A November Snow

November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.

The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.”

I love the poem, and the picture – so quiet and peaceful looking.

I can’t believe your area got so much snow! We only got some snowflakes in the air, nothing sticking on the ground. I’m not sure I’m ready for that yet!

    My goodness,
    say it ain’t so!!!
    We have had a
    very mild fall in
    MN and I’m not
    sure I’m ready
    for this….BUT,
    it IS gorgeous!!!
    Hope it has melted,
    by now….and just
    a taste of what is
    coming!
    xx Suzanne
