Calvary

Matthew 27:45

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

 Three crosses on a hill on a background of a sunset

~Oh, that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,

Has a wondrous attraction for me;

For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above

To bear it to dark Calvary.

    Another song I love, to illustrate the Cross is “He Died for Me,” by John Newton. If you’ve never heard it, you should look it up.

    Thank you for the reminder of Calvary.
